Tarheels.Live Website

Starting off my semester in the Hussman School of Media and Journalism, I began my MEJO 121 course by creating a TarHeels.live page. Listed below you can access the finished website.

This project highlights my feature on Paige Tuggle, focusing on her role in media production for UNC Football. Through interviews and storytelling, I explored her contributions to capturing and sharing the excitement of Tar Heel sports.

Digital Media Video

This is a video I filmed and edited for my MEJO 121-Intro to Digital Storytelling class about my friend Paige Tuggle. Paige works with UNC Football, contributing to media production and creative storytelling for the team. In this video, Paige shares insights into her role, what it’s like to work behind the scenes for Tar Heel sports, and her passion for showcasing the stories of athletes. Learn more about Paige and her impactful work in the video below.

HTML

Here is my custom-coded HTML site built for my MEJO 121 class. I enjoyed learning how to code, picking style choices, and building a website as a whole. Listed below is the site that I built!

Final Video Project

For my Intro to Digital Storytelling final video edit, I decided to document a quick glimpse into my life as I prepared for Thanksgiving break. In this vlog, I tackle cleaning my room and organizing my space before heading home for the holidays. Take a look at how I get everything in order and ready for a fresh start after the break!

MEJO 142 Campaign

This is a presentation I created for my MEJO 142 class, Cultural Competency in Journalism and Strategic Communication. The project highlights the importance of understanding diverse perspectives and applying cultural awareness to enhance ethical journalism and effective communication strategies. As part of this work, I developed a mock campaign and analyzed real-world projects to demonstrate the application of these principles in practice. Check out the presentation below to see how these skills drive impactful storytelling and connection.
